I used to live my life for myself I was drinking I was drugging and on my way to hell.
I used to give into sexual immorality
I'd have sex and end up feeling guilty and condemned .
I would picture Jesus's second coming as I fell into adultery and missed the rapture and stuck in a den of thieves.
There was very few rules I wouldn't break and bend every sin was my alibi and every alcoholic spirit was my friend
Every Consequence had no end.
I was a people pleaser and I just loved
following all the latest trends.
Even though I'm not exactly where I want to be in life
My heart has began to mend, I was in a rut but
now it's back to your perfect plan
Jer 29:11
I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord
Plan's for prosperity and not calamity plans to give you a future and a hope.
This is the all mighty truth and that's no joke so here's the proof.
And to quote Paul Why do I do what I don't want to do?
That's when I fall to my knees and give to Jesus Christ all my burdens and my worries and he takes care of my needs.
He removes all my pride and devours all my greed
He restores my soul and comforts me.
He delivers me of my ailments and gives me
his heavenly peace.
He makes sure I am fed and he prepares a feast before my enemies.
Yeah I'm walking the narrow road and it ain't easy
I'm walking the path that's gonna save me
I don't need Hollywood and radio and I don't need TV
Never gonna settle
It's just God and me.
What good is it if I gain the world and lose my soul?
Yeah the narrow road might sometimes feel dark and cold
but in the end it'll lead straight to the streets of Gold.
