I wrote this for my 2010 album a new beginning it was originally called Get well again but I later changed the title as Sober And Well is much catchier. It's about getting clean and sober and knowing who your real friends are.
My old friend Chance once said it helped him in his own life as well as his recovery. He was quoted as to saying my album saved his life. It was recorded with my good friend Steve in his apartment. I rarely play this song live and even planned to put out a part 2 to a new beginning called Another New Beginning with a handful of other songs with the same theme.
